3D scan of Minister Ilse Aigner at Hannover Messe 2015

At Hannover Messe 2015 industrial fair Measurement in Motion presented the MiM3D-X1 system for mobile 3D laser scanning. It allows for high accuracy 3D scans of production facilities in a fast surveying-in-motion recording process. Since the systems tracks its trajectory autonomously, the recording process integrates directly into the production process by using the existing transportation systems of manufacturing.

Among many other interested visitors, we were happy to welcome a special guest at our booth: The Bavarian Minister for Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology, Ilse Aigner. Not only did the minister inform herself about the technology, but also opted for a live demonstration, allowing us to record a 3D scan of the minister on site.
